The following is a brief synopsis of what is available (and you are missing) in this section.

Condor Bering Strait

SECTION 5 - Cook's Final Frontier

The third voyage of Captain James Cook and Captain Charles Clerke to Canada's Pacific North West and a possible western entrance to a Northwest Passage are described in detail. The origins of the North West Fur trade with its early significance and the relevance of anti-scorbutic measures in the naval diet are touched upon, as is the contribution of Cook to the mapping of America, the world and his respect for indigenous peoples he came into contact with.
Four original antique maps relating to Cook's exploration of N-W America are fully described to international standard, together with six engravings, which illustrate this section. Included is a scarce portrait of Cook, the description of which places him in the context of history.

The full research information and cataloging details of the items in this section however, are available to purchasers only.
