THE PYRAMIDS OF GIZA SEEN FROM THE NILE
[PYRAMIDS OF GEZEEH FROM THE NILE]

In the foreground Roberts has added a charming scene of a family passing the time for the ferry to arrive by playing with a much loved child and feeding a tame bird. Nearby a villager squats in the sweltering sun and cools his hand on the surface of a water vessel.
